crab apple tree
About eight years ago, my boys gave me a crab apple tree for mommy's day. We planted it right in the center of the front yard and every year I wait for those few glorious days in which we have lovely blossoms...
It's been pretty chilly willy around here, I sent Parker to school all bundled up today!

ReplyDeleteMy grandparents did something similar where they planted a tree for each of their kids and grandkids the year they were born. Its nice to go back and visit the "Amanda" tree and see how tall everyone's has grown. Lovely memories :)
Your tree is beautiful -- we HAD 2 crabapples -- one white, one pink -- & just one day after taking photos of my boys in front of the pink one, it came down in that horrible wind we had :( Maybe my kids will buy me a new one for mommy's day!
