love day

The hubs and I don't typically celebrate Valentines Day.  Maybe a card, if anything.  We tend to be more about celebrating our anniversary and try to do things throughout the year to show our love for one another.  However, this year he did surprise me with some roses... such a sweet surprise.

Valentines day is more fun for the kids.  We do little things for them throughout the day like add surprise heart shaped cookies in their lunch and pop a heart shape twisty straw in their drink at dinner.

But the crafting is my favorite part!

When the kids got home from school, they couldn't wait to show me all of their goodies!

I always tell Parker that his eyes glow when he gets off of the bus....

Peyton was my little sweetie.  He told me I was his only Valentine, and even gave me a ring:

There are days when I feel a little out-numbered around here, but days like today, they all pull together and make me feel like a princess...
